Join Ted Leeming and Morag Paterson for a week long winter workshop in the northern Icelandic winter wonderland. Take advantage of having two creative professional photographers offering tuition and guidance, and a guaranteed small group size. Whether is traditional landscape, abstract and impressionist photography or a mixture of the two that excites you, Ted and Morag will guide you through and give you advice on how to develop your own style in a friendly and nurturing environment.
We will be staying at the Sel Hotel, close to the shore of Lake Myvatn for the duration of the trip. The hotel is in a beautiful location and within easy reach of numerous fascinating venues including colourful geothermal areas, huge waterfalls including Dettifoss, Selfoss and Godafoss, pseudo craters, gigantic lava fields, snow covered trees and a hot steamy cave.
Staying in the same hotel for the entire workshop allows for ample time to get to know each venue, some return visits to locations following review sessions and down time in which to process images and relax – the beautiful nature baths are a short trip from the hotel and there are lakeside walks directly from the door.
